Application of 5H Management Model in Patients with Daytime Chemotherapy

Objective: To explore the application effect of 5H management mode on tumor patients undergoing daytime chemotherapy. Method: Based on the work practice of a pilot hospital in Shanghai in implementing the 5H management model, through the establishment of an integrated 5H management model for daytime chemotherapy, the implementation of multidisciplinary joint consultation, individualized diagnosis and treatment programs, and psychological relief treatment, the provision of family-friendly services, the establishment of personalized medical archives, the establishment of one-stop outpatient clinics, the provision of quality ward management, the implementation of people-oriented process management, as well as attentive service, artistic healing, love and public welfare, and emphasize the diagnosis, treatment, and work atmosphere of physical and mental pleasure between patients and healthcare providers. Results: It has been found that the work efficiency of medical staff has been significantly improved, and the satisfaction of patients and family members is significantly higher than that of other specialties. The standardized management level of medical treatment has been effectively improved. Conclusions: The conclusion is drawn that the 5H management model can provide high-quality services for daytime chemotherapy patients, meet their needs, and generate good social and economic benefits for hospitals, which can be promoted and applied in clinical practice.
