Objective: To study and analyze the strategy and practice value of outpatient process optimization based on informatization in Grade three A hospital. Method: Retrospective analysis was conducted on the outpatient management of Grade three A hospital from January 2021 to December 2022. Routine outpatient management was carried out from January 2021 to December 2021, and the information-based optimization strategy management of outpatient process in Grade three A hospital was implemented from January 2022 to December 2022. A total of 100 patients admitted to outpatient clinics in each of the two stages were selected as the study target, among which 100 patients admitted from January 2021 to December 2021 were included in the control group, and 100 patients admitted from January 2022 to December 2022 were included in the study group. The outpatient diagnosis and treatment situation (time spent in each process), outpatient appointment rate, inter-clinic settlement proportion, outpatient process satisfaction of the two groups were evaluated and compared. Results: The time of registration, seeing a doctor, time of drug delivery in the study group was shorter than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The rate of outpatient appointment and the proportion of outpatient settlement in the study group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). The satisfaction of patients in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusions: The optimization of outpatient process based on information technology is helpful to improve the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment, improve the rate of outpatient appointment and the proportion of outpatient settlement, and improve patients' satisfaction with outpatient process.
